Manifestation and The Rollercoaster

Imagine:

You’re at your an amusement park and you’re standing in the long line for their newest sure-to-turn-your-hair-white rollercoaster, Frightmare. You’ve been waiting a whole year for this and here you are, in line, watching the lucky ones who got in ahead of you. They zoom over your head, tilting sideways before disappearing with blurring speed, the only evidence that they were there at all is their fading, giddy screams.

Never at any moment are you worried you aren’t going to get on this newest, greatest, fastest coaster. It’s just a matter of time. You pass the time by chatting with your friends, viewing the scenery, people watching, thinking about which ride you want to go on next, and a hundred other mental distractions as the line slowly inches forward. You aren’t worried you’re in the wrong line and it never crosses your mind that you aren’t good-enough or that there is a limit of adrenaline junkies per day who get to delight in this thrill-ride. Silly, right?

Well, manifesting your dream things within your ideal life is no different. You’re simply waiting in line. And those people who already have or are experiencing what you want are simply evidence that you are in the right line and that you’re in the roped-in switch-backs that will lead to you being strapped in.

And there are rides (manifestations) where you get on right away, and then there are the ones with long lines that seem to take forever. But are you going to stand in line just to decide to go somewhere else when you’re almost there? No!

This is about knowing you’re almost there. That, regardless of line-time, you ARE in the line that is for sure leading to what you’ve been waiting for.

The very minute you choose a desire it is synonymous with you seeing that rollercoaster and rushing to get in line. Allow yourself the same feelings. Excited, delighted, happy, juiced up. And when these feelings fade - that’s normal. That doesn’t mean you’re out of line. Your initial excitement at getting in line for your favorite event or coaster fades, too. Boredom hits. Impatience hits. Even irritation. But you never give up. You know soon you will be the one at the front of the line, with your toes touching the gate that is soon going to open.

And then off you’ll go, screaming with delight, laughing, heart pounding, and wishing it wouldn’t end. But it does, just so you can get in another line leading to your next big thrill ride.
